Since I was a child I have had a passion for makeup, fashion and art. After leaving art college I worked in the fashion industry for a number of years, and the time that I spent organising and coordinating numerous fashion shoots confirmed to me that I needed to follow my heart and do the thing I had wanted to do since I picked up my first kohl liner when I was three years old. It sounds like a cliche, but makeup has always been my calling.
Since training at the Manchester School of Makeup, I have never looked back.
Regardless of who my client is it is important to me that I meet their brief to the highest standards, using my creativity and an instinctive understanding of what is right. I am professional and hard working, and am told that I have a warm northern personality – this combination always works to put people at ease when the pressure is on.
I love working with people – it’s what I do best. I believe in bringing out the best in people by enhancing their natural beauty and creating flawless complexions.
It is important to me that whoever is sat in my makeup chair feels relaxed and comfortable before they step out into the spotlight, whether it be in front of a camera or as a bride walking down the aisle.
I am based in Leeds, West Yorkshire but have worked all across the UK.
